Programme Design & Management
Turning community needs into structured programmes, delivery plans, documentation, reporting, and measurable outcomes.
Accra, Ghana · Open to global collaboration
I’m Robert Okyere Obiri—a programme manager, community builder, and open-knowledge advocate leading community-driven initiatives across Africa. I build partnerships, strengthen volunteer ecosystems, and help mission-driven organisations turn ideas into sustainable programmes and meaningful digital engagement.
Also known as Robert Jamal
My work sits at the intersection of programme management, community development, open knowledge, volunteer support, partnerships, and digital engagement.
I design and coordinate community-driven programmes, facilitate learning, build partnerships, and strengthen volunteer ecosystems. Across Wikimedia, nonprofit, and private-sector organisations, I help turn ideas and community needs into practical initiatives that enable people to participate, collaborate, lead, and thrive.
I work with nonprofits, communities, networks, and mission-driven teams to design programmes, strengthen participation, and deliver meaningful learning experiences.
Turning community needs into structured programmes, delivery plans, documentation, reporting, and measurable outcomes.
Developing practical approaches for community growth, onboarding, engagement, communication, and long-term sustainability.
Designing and facilitating workshops, peer-learning sessions, consultations, and collaborative planning processes.
Strengthening volunteer journeys, leadership pathways, retention practices, and systems that help contributors thrive.
Supporting Wikimedia programmes, local-language communities, contributor training, Wikidata, and knowledge equity initiatives.
Connecting stakeholders, affiliates, funders, and community teams around shared goals, responsibilities, and action.
Practical, experience-based conversations about authenticity, purpose, confidence, choices, and living more intentionally. This is personal guidance, not therapy or professional counselling.
